Advice on autogenous vaccines immunoprophylaxis
The prerequisite for the efficacy of our autogenous vaccines is the isolation of the causative pathogen from sometimes complex sample material as well as the precise identification of the infectious agent. What type of sample is required for optimal pathogen identification in which animals and when should these samples be taken? Other important factors are:
- Which combination of viral and bacterial antigens is appropriate?
- Which adjuvant is recommended?
- When is the ideal time for vaccination?
Experience has shown that these questions are best clarified during a personal consultation – whether by phone, e-mail, online meeting or on-site during a visit. Intense communication between the veterinarian and the laboratory is key when it comes to the design of a suitable vaccine and the estimation of its efficacy. Sample material and collection
We’re happy to advise you on suitable sample material for diagnostic testing, as well as on its collection and shipment, and will also provide you with sampling kits if required.
